Granada Airport is one of the international airports of Spain, and is located approximately 15km, or 9.4 miles west of the city of Granada, and 62.5 miles, or 100km from Jaen, which is to the north of the airport. It is also nearby the municipalities of Santa Fe and Chauchina, and generally serves many towns and cities in the region of Andalusia. It is of medium size, handling almost or just over a million passengers per year, and is an airport which is modern and efficient in its operations.
